John Sardinha

John Sardinha, 67, of Somerset, passed away on December 15, 2013, at his home with his loving family by his side. John fought a long and hard battle with Alzheimers with dignity. He was the beloved husband of Pauline A. (DeMello) Sardinha.

Born in Fall River, MA, he was the son of the late Antonio and Rita (Camara) Sardinha.

Before retirement, John was employed as a carpenter with the Navy in Newport, and previously he worked with Gold Medal Bakery. He served his country with the Air Force during Vietnam. John was a member of the Elks Lodge #118, he was also a loving and caring person who was devoted to his family.

Besides his loving wife of over 44 years, he leaves his children, Kevin Sardinha and wife Shephali of Winchester, MA and Kerry Silvia of Somerset. Grandfather of Tyler and Bailey Silvia, Jacob and Joshua Sardinha. He was also the brother of Troy and David Sardinha both of Somerset and Thomas Sardinha of Warren, RI.

John was married to Pauline DeMello class of 1965
